Renovations and Rejuvenation 2009
Ring out the old, Bring in the New!

Beginning the last week of December 2008, the Warwick Museum of Art will begin a large renovation and revitalization project. Funding for this project was made possible through the generosity of a Champlin Foundations grant. Because of the time lines, the WMOA will be closed to the public during the renovation
(end of December 2008 – end of March 2009).

The project plan includes: the deconstruction of the white accordion walls, the installation of 9 arched windows for the gallery, sandblasting old paint off the brick, the installation of oak hard wood flooring, a professional art installation system to hang paintings on brick walls, portable display units,
a new stage, and more!

Our Grand Reopening is being planned for April 2009
with a fundraiser, art exhibition, comedy performances, raffles, music and more!
