2008 Why Go Green in RI? at the Warwick Museum of Art
Opening Reception & Awards Ceremony:  Saturday, July 26, 2008  7 - 9 p.m.

The Warwick Museum of Art invites you to join us Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 7 - 9 pm for the opening and awards night of the “Why Go Green in RI?” photography show. This exciting exhibition consists of the photographic works documenting Rhode Island artists’ outlook about what being “Green” means to them. Join us for a night of fresh and unexpected perspectives about the world’s growing concern (or unconcern) for the environment and how it relates to the state of Rhode Island. There is no admission to the gallery, but a small donation to support the Museum is graciously accepted.

The show “Why Go Green in RI? will run through Saturday August 26nd, 2008.

The Awards Reception and Show Opening on Saturday night will celebrate the contributing photographers to the show, including prizes awarded for First, Second, and Third place, as well as an Audience Favorite. A special prize will be awarded to the photographer whose method is most environmentally friendly. There will be something for everyone in this exhibit showcasing the distinctive imagery and creativity of gifted photographers on this environmental topic.
